Banksy

You know about Banksy, I am sure.
And I know you must be at least a bit influenced by those images and copies of them all over the world. Have you ever tried to understand what he is talking about? I mean, he is an “lazy artist”, “conceptual action man”… But, what does he try to conceive with all that? Go on and read his cuttings, for example, to learn what people think of him. Or, see his indoors series… It might be a bit clearer what this man is after…

8th Changchun China International Sculpture Symposium

JULY 23– SEPTEMBER 3, 2006 Changchun, CHINA

“From 1997 to 2004, seven sessions of symposiums were held. In September 2003, International Sculpture Conference was held successfully. Up till now, 296 sculptors from 130 countries have created 341 sculptures for the city representing diverse kinds of artistic styles from around the world. The sculptures are all displayed in Changchun World Sculpture Park. The park covers 92 hectares, in which a specialized Sculpture Gallery covers 12.5 thousand square kilometers, holding nearly 100 excellent works created by national and international well-known sculptors and over 500 African Makonde wood sculptures with unique style.

With the theme of “Friendship, Peace and Spring”, the 8th Changchun China International Sculpture Symposium, which lasts for about 40 days, will be held from July to August, 2006, for further promoting international cultural exchanges and improving Changchun urban sculpture construction.”
